PESULAN LIKAT

Hilpeä draamakomedia - hitti maailmalta!

Pesulan likat on tarina yhteispesulasta Glasgow'ssa. Skotlantilainen hittinäytelmä on kuin työväenluokan Mamma Mia! -musikaali. Se sisältää kymmenkunta menevää ja välillä haikeatakin laulua eri vuosikymmeniltä.
Pyykkivuorten keskellä ahertaa neljä värikästä naista: nuori Doreen, turhan suora Magrit, porukan ilopilleri, suulas ja hyväntahtoinen Dolly sekä raihnainen rouva Culfeathers. Eloisaa joukkoa täydentää konemekaanikko Andy.
On uudenvuodenaatto. Juhlailta lähenee, mutta töitä on vaan tehtävä. Pyykinpesu taittuu jutellessa, ja rempseissä puheissa vilahtavat niin lapset, miehet, muistot kuin mehevät juorutkin. Tunnelma kohoaa ja työ seisahtuu naisten riehaantuessa laulamaan.

Tämän näytelmän olen myös nähnyt hyvin monta kertaa, veikkaukseni on 4-5 kertaan. Tämän kanssa kävi samalla tavalla kuin Lentävien Morsianten etten ensimmäisellä kerralla oikein pitänyt näytelmästä, vielä vähemmän kuin Lentävistä Morsiamista. Mutta jo toisella katselukerralla jouduinkin vaihtamaan mielipidettäni.

Näytelmän erilaisuus varmaan vaikutti siihen etten siitä kovasti aluksi tykännyt. Aihe kun on yllättävän tavallinen eikä oikeastaan näytelmässä tapahdu mitään kovin kummallista. Tavallista arkea pyykkituvalla jossa naiset juoruavat.

Mutta on tämä hieno! Välillä saa nauraa ja välillä saa itkeä. Dollyn hahmo on erittäin herkullinen ja Ritva Jalonen on juuri oikea siihen hommaan. Laulut ovat upeita ja hyvin laulettuja. Kaksi lempi lauluanikin löytyy näytelmästä ja olikin erittäin ihana yllätys kuulla ne. Ritva Jalosen ääni on todella upea ja en ole vieläkään saanut selville kuka näyttelijöistä laulaa upeat sopraanoäänet muutamiin lauluihin, onko se Natalil Lintala vai Laura Alajääski...

Olen nähnyt kaksi näyttelijää esittävän Andyä. Ilpo Hakalan ja sitten vierailevana tähtenä tämän... tämän... no voihan nyt, en kyllä kuollaksenikaan muista hänen nimeään O_o Hyvin hän toki veti, eri tavalla tietenkin kuin Ilpo mutta sanoisin silti että pidin Ilpon versiosta enemmän.

Tässäkin näytelmässä on tullut nähtyä totaalisia tippumisia vuorosanoissa. Yksikin kerta jossa kesti oikein kauan päästä taas vuorosanoihin käsiksi mutta kohta onkin erittäin hankala kelle tahansa joten olisi ihme jos siinä kohtaan ei koskaan menisi lukkoon vaikka harjoittelisi kuinka hyvin. Loistavia kohtauksia nekin ja ainakin minä sain uudet mukavat naurut vaikkei ehkä muu yleisö kauheasti mitään huomannutkaan.

Tosin, yksi asia minua harmittaa koko ajan. Istun aina takapermannolla takimmaisissa tuoleissa ja yksinkertaisesti sinne on kuulo-ongelmia, varsinkin silloin kun Marjut Sariola puhuu. Hänellä on niin hiljainen ja hento ääni (varmaan ihan hahmoon kuuluvakin ominaisuus) että se ei yksinkertaisesti kuulu takapermannolle asti useammassa kohdassa. Ja sekös harmittaa. Ja jos minulla on jo vaikeuksia kuulla niin voin kuvitella niiden iäkkäämpien ihmisten tuskan jotka istuvat takapermannolla eivätkä kuule sanaakaan.

Suosittelen tätäkin lämpimästi mutta suosittelen yrittää saada paikkoja etupermannolta.

THE STEAMIE

Cheerful drama comedy - success from the world!

The Steamie is a stroy about laundry at Glasgow. Scottish success play is like working class's Mamma Mia! musical. It contains about ten going and sometimes wistful songs from different decades. In the middle of laundry mountains there is four women working hard: young Doreen, too straight Magrit, the merrymaker of the crowd, chatty and kind Dolly and frail Mrs Culfeathers. The lively group is completed with mechanic Andy.
It's New Year's Eve. The party night is coming closer but there's still work to do. Laundering will be more nice chattering and in rakish talk they go through children, men, memories and delicious rumours. The mood is rising and work will halt when women start to sing

I've also seen this many times, I would guess about 4-5 times. It was the same for this like it was for Boeing Boeing, I didn't like it at the first time and even less than the Boeing Boeing. But on the second time I have to change my mind again. 

It was so different what I had earlier seen that made me dislike it at first. The subject is suprisingly common and there isn't really anything peculiar happening in the play. Just regular weekday at the laundy where women are gossiping.

But this is still so wonderful! Sometimes you laugh and sometimes you cry. Dolly is a very delicious character and Ritva Jalonen is just right person for her. The songs are fabulous and they are well sung. There were my two favourite songs also in the play which was very pleasant suprise when I heard them. The voice of Ritva Jalonen is amazing and I'm still not sure who sung those really wonderful soprano sounds in some songs, was it Natalil Lintala or Laura Alajääski...

I've seen two actors playing the role of Andy. Ilpo Hakala and the guest star... this... um... well, I just can't remember his name anymore O_o He was also good, of course he did the role a little bit differently than Ilpo but I would still say I liked Ilpos performance better.

In this play too I've seen total fallings in lines. One time they had a really hard time to get hang of the lines again but the scene is very hard anyway so it was only a matter of time they get lost with the lines even they had reheased it very well. Those were very wonderful moments and at least I got to something new to laugh although I don't think others in the audience noticed much.

Although one thing is still bothering me. I sat always at back stall and there is just simply hearing problems, especially when Marjut Sariola was speaking. She has really quiet and fragile voice (maybe just because of the charachter also) you just can't hear it at the back of the stall most of the times. And that's really a shame. And if even I have difficulties to hear it I just can imagine the pain of those oldery people who can't hear a word.

I recommend this warmly but I would recommend to try get seats from the front stall.
