"Keslälomareissu" / "Summer holiday trip"

Mistähän sitä aloittaisi. Varmaankin siitä mihin jäin. Eli Power Parkissa olimme sunnuntaina. Sää salli mukavasti, vaikka hieman tihkui juuri kun pääsimme parkkipaikalle, mutta vesisade jäi siihen. Melkein kaikki laitteet kävimme läpi. Hurjan hauskaa oli! Meillä kävi tuuri ruoan suhteen. Menimme syömään ja kun lähdimme huomasimme, että paikka oli jo suljettu. Ihmeellisen aikaisin meni kaikki ruokapaikat ja muut kojut kiinni. Power Parkin sivuilla mielestäni sanottiin, että puisto on auki 12-21, mutta ruokapaikat menivät kiinni jo 17:30 ja lippuluukulla luki, että huvipuisto on auki 11-19. Harmitti kun olisin halunnut vielä hattaran enkä enää saanut mistään. Mitään kuulutusta en kyllä muista huvipuiston sulkemisesta. Ehdimme siis juuri saada ruokaa. Ja sitten teimme virheen. Päätimme mennä vielä yhteen laitteeseen ennen kuin lähtisimme. Valitsimme Cobran. Vuoristoradan, joka menee etuperin ja takaperin. Se oli virhe! Ei ollut pahaa menoa eteenpäin, mutta kun laite lähti samaa reittiä takaperin niin alkoi jo ranskanperunat ja hampurilainen mahassa voida pahoi. Hyvin selvisimme kuitenkin ilman mahalaukun sisällön tyhjentämisiä (olemmehan ammattilaisia :)). Harmittelimme kun tuuli kovasti ja yksi laite oli suljettu johon olisimme halunneet mennä. Mutta seuraavalla kerralla sitten.

Vietimme sunnuntai illan kotona ja nukuimme yön omassa sängyssä. Maanantaina suuntasimme isälleni Laitilaan, Seppälän kylään. Mitähän sitä sitten isällä. Eipä siellä paljoa muuta tehty kuin saunottiin, syötiin ja uitiin. Särkijärvellä käytiin uimassa melkein joka päivä. Hirveän kylmää vettä! Muistaakseni joku sanoi, että vesi olisi 25-27 asteista, mutta ei se ainakaan siltä tuntunut! Uitiin kuitenkin. Nukuimme miehen kanssa isän saunarakennuksessa. Siellä on mukava olla. Vaikka nukkuma-alusta ei ole mikään maailman paras. Mutta vähän maalaishenkeä pitää olla! Niin, isällänihän on puulämmitteinen ulkosauna, ei sähköä, ei juoksevaa vettä. Rakastan sitä saunaa!

Teimme me hommiakin. Mies leikkasi isän takapihan nokkosviidakkoa, minä yritin tehdä jotain löytämäni ruusupensaan hyväksi ja poimin isän musta- ja punaviinimarjat.

Uudenkaupungin Pakkahuoneella oli pakko käydä syömässä munkit. Sieltä saa maailman parhaat munkit! Muutama tuttu naamakin näkyi kaupungilla. Seikkailimme myös Kalannin Kuuavuorella perjantaina. Upeat näkymät siellä! Kumpa pääsisin sinne joskus yöllä katselemaan tähtiäkin. Olisi varmasti upea näky! Näimme (ja kuulimme) kolme kurkeakin lentämässä ohitsemme. Mutta olivat harmittavan kaukana, ettei kuvia pystynyt ottamaan. Mustikoitakin löysimme metsästä. Paluumatkalla isälle näimme pellolla myös peuran vasoineen ja neljä muuta kurkea. Monena aamuna ja iltana kuului isän viereiseltä suolta kurkien laulua. Ja olihan isän pihallakin elämää. Lukemattomia perhosia, sudenkorentoja, mehiläisiä, kovakuoriaisia, hämähäkkejä, järjetön määrä kärpäsiä ja heinäsirkkoja sekä muutama hyttynen ja... SISILISKOJA! Pikkiriikkisiä sisiliskon poikasia. Ja emostakin näin vilauksen (se oli valtava poikasiin verrattuna!). En ole pitänyt sisiliskoa kädessä sitten varmaan ala-aste aikojen. Oli hieno hetki! Sisiliskot ovat niin suloisia!

Säät kyllä suosivat meitä. Yhtenä yönä (vai kahtenako) tuli vettä (sitä on oikein mukava kuunnella saunakamarissa). Yhtenä päivänä oli myös kovin harmaata koko päivän joten pysyimme aikalailla sisällä koko päivän. 

Täytyy kyllä myöntää, että Kalanti on kaunis paikka. Minä rakastan sitä pientä kylää. Hieman siellä oli taas kaikki paikat muuttunut. Oli tehty pyöräteitä ja vihdoin korjattu asfalttia. Muistoja tuli taas kovasti mieleen. Minä niin haluaisin muuttaa takaisin Kalantiin. Olla taas kunnon maalainen pienestä kylästä. Ei tämä kaupunki oikein ole minun paikkani.

Joulupukkille täytyy kyllä kirjoittaa kirjeeseen, että toivoisin saavani kirjan jossa olisi Suomen kasvistoa ja eläimistöä (tai kaksi kirjaa, jos ei löydy samasta opuksesta). Olisi niin mukava tietää mitkä näkemäni kasvit, eläimet ja hyönteiset ovat nimeltään.

Where do I begin. What about where I stayed. So, on Sunday we were at the Power Park. The weather was nice, although it dribbled a little bit when we arrived at the parking area but it didn’t started to rain. We ran almost every device through. It was awesome! We got lucky when we had to eat. We went to have a dinner and when we were leaving the restaurant we noticed the place was already closed. Every restaurant and snack bar were closing, very early in our opinion. We looked at the Power parks site and it had said the park would be open on Sunday from 12 to 9pm but everyone was closing at 5:30pm and there was note in box-office the park would be open from 11 to 7pm. It was a shame because I wanted to have a cotton candy and now I didn't got one. I don't even remember any announcements about the park closing. So we manage just to eat before the places were closing. And then we made a big mistake! We decided to go one more device before we would leave the place. We chose Cobra. Rollercoaster which went forwards and backwards. It was a mistake! It wasn’t so bad at first when it went forwards but when it started to go backwards my french fries and hamburger started to feel sick in my stomach. We got out alive and without emptying our stomaches (we are professionals :)). It was a shame it was a really windy so we didn’t get in on one device because it was closed. Well, until next time!  

We spent our time at home on Sunday evening and Monday morning and slept in our own bed. On Monday we drove to my father to Laitila, in village called Seppälä. What about there. Well we didn’t do much, we went to sauna, ate and swam. We were swimming in Särkijärvi (Roachlake) almost every day. The water was freezing! I remember someone was saying it would be about 25-27 degrees but it didn’t feel like it! But we still swam. I slept with my partner in my fathers saunabuilding. There is  nice to sleep, although our sleepingbed wasn’t the most comfy one. But you must have a little bit of a country spirit! Oh, and my fathers sauna is heated with wood, and no electricity or running water there. I love that sauna!  

Of course we worked there too. My partner cut my fathers backyards nettlejungel, I tried to do something for rose push I found and picked my fathers blackcurrants and redcurrants. 

 It was a must to go to Uusikaupunki at Pakkahuone to have a doughnut. They are the best doughnuts in the world! I saw few familiar faces too. We also went to village named Kalanti and there to the  Kuuavuori (Kuuamountain) on Friday. My, it was a sight! I wish to go there someday at the evening to do some stargazing. That would be really amazing! We saw (and heard) three cranes flying past us but they were too far away for a picture. There were lot of blueberrys to eat too. When we were driving back to my father we saw a deer and a fawn at the field. There were also four other cranes. We heard cranes shouting from the nearby swamb almost every morning and evening. And there were lot of other life in my fathers yard too: countless amount of butteflies, dragonflies, bees, beetles, spiders, absurd amount of flies and grasshoppers and a few mosquitios and... LIZARDS! Tiny baby lizards. And I saw glipse of the mother too (it was huge compared to the babies). I haven’t hold a lizard since I was at elementary school. It was a wonderful moment! Lizards are so cute! 

The weather was nice to us. It rained on one night (or two, it was very nice to listen it in our saunabuilding). One day it was quite grey all day so we decided to stay inside quite the whole day. 

I must admit, Kalanti is a very beautiful place. I love that small village. There were few changes again. There were new cycle paths and roads were finally repaired with a new asphalt. Memories started to fill my head. I would really like to move back to Kalanti. Be a proper countrywoman from a small village again. This city life isn’t for me.  

I have to write to Santa Claus I want a book where is Finlands flora and fauna (or two books if they’re not found in a same book). It would be nice to know names to all the plants, animals and insects I see.
