Parempi tulevaisuus / Better future

Usko parempaan huomiseen on kyllä kovalla koetuksella näinä päivinä kun katsoo uutisotsikoita.

Norjassa pommi-isku ja ammuskelua
Ghanassa pidätetään homoja
Euroopan talous on päin mäntyä
Suomessa aletaan verottamaan hyvässä lykyssä jo pullonkeräyksestäkin saatuja tuloja
Murhia, ryöstöjä, raiskauksia ja muuta ikävää
Luonnonkatastrofeja on joka puolella

Vain muutamia mainitakseni.

Täytyy kyllä myöntää, että en ole valmis antamaan tätä perintöä omille lapsilleni. Ja juurikin tämä epäystävällinen maailma pikemminkin on suurin syy siihen miksi olen tosissani alkanut epäilemään lapsenteon kannattavuutta. Ihan sen lapsen itsensä takia. Yksinkertaisesti se on minusta todella kammottava ajatus, että annan uuden elämän lapselle joka joutuu hyvässä lykyssä kokemaan vielä kamalempia asioita kuin mitä itse. Minullahan kuitenkin on hyvät oltavat. Mutta se mihin tämä maailma näyttää olevan menossa onkin sitten ihan toinen juttu. En voi tietenkään olla varma asiasta mutta en tiedä haluanko ottaa sitä riskiä, että lapseni joutuu kärsimään ihmisten tyhmyydestä sen takia, että minä päätin että lapsi tulee. Itsekin olen välillä sitä mieltä, että olen syntynyt väärälle vuosiluvulle. En tosin usko, että muut olisivat olleet sen parempiakaan ellei mennä TOSI kauas aivan ihmisten alkuaikoihin vaikkei silloinkaan ollut turvallista, vaarat vain olivat erilaisia.

Yksinkertaisesti emme voi paeta vaaroja. Mutta minä sentään ymmärtäisin kuitenkin sellaiset vaarat mitä luonto meille asettaa, luonnonkatastrofit (maanjäristykset, tsunamit, tulivuoren purkaukset, nälänhätä säästä johtuen ym). Voihan sitä ajatella, että ihminenkin kuuluu luontoon mutta siinä on sellainen ongelma, että ihminen on kuitenkin ajatteleva eläin ja yleensäkin ihminen tietää mitä tekee ja mitä siitä seuraa (useimmat ainakin). Me emme ole pakotetut tappamaan toisiamme elintilan, parittelu kumppanin tai ruoan takia (tai ehkä sittenkin olemme, ihmisiä on tällä hetkellä liikaa ja ruokaa muka liian vähän) mutta varsinkaan niinkin vähäpätöisten asioiden takia kuin toiset uskonnot ja elämänkatsomukset, toiset mielipiteet. Ei ne eläimetkään välitä pätkääkään siitä mitä se toinen ajattelee ja mitä mieltä se on juuri tietystä ajankohtaisesta asiasta ja auta armias jos se ei olekaan samaa mieltä kuin MINÄ! Niille riittää yhteistyö, turva, ruoka ja lisääntyminen. Älytön toisten tappaminen ei kuitenkaan taida edes kuulua meidän luontoomme (vai kuuluuko sittenkin... loppujen lopuksi, kuinka paljon me tiedämme tästä eläimestä ihminen, on meissäkin paljon asioita vielä joita ei ole selvitetty. Ja onhan se totta, että ihminen on eläin siinä missä muutkin. Mutta yleensä eläimillä on jokin järkevä selitys oman lajitoverinsa tappamiseen. Ihmisillä niitä järkeviä selityksiä ei ole ollut vielä, muuta kuin ehkä kuolemantuomioissa, jotka nekin on vähän kaksipiippuisia asioita).

Olen aina sanonut, että ihminen on tyhmä eläin ja aina välillä joillain napsahtaa jolloin se tyhmyys on vielä suurempaa. Olen itse hyvin häpeissäni joutuessani myöntämään olevani ihminen, Homo Sapiens. Mutta myönnän myös, että minulla ei ole ratkaisua maailman ongelmiin. En yksinkertaisesti tiedä miten tästä maailmasta saisi paremman paikan elää. Tiedän vain millä tavalla sitä ei tehdä. Ja näyttää vahvasti siltä, että kukaan muukaan ei tiedä. Näkemyksiä siitäkin mikä on "oikea" tapa parantaa maailma ja millainen on "parempi maailma" vaihtelee niin paljon ihmisten keskuudessa, että en usko pääsevämme koskaan yhteisymmärrykseen.

Tässä teille "vuoden 2003 viimeinen uutislähteys" Arvi Lind - Hyviä Uutisia   Toivon mukaan vielä joskus laulu pitäisi paikkansa.

Sitä odotellessa siis. Voi kyllä olla, etten sitä tule koskaan näkemään vaikka 100-vuotiaaksi päätin elää kituttaa tällä kirotulla planeetalla (76 vuotta vielä), ellei uudelleen syntyminen ole sittenkin totta tai jos pystyn jollain tavalla jäämään katselemaan mitä tuleman pitää (en tosin ole varma haluaisinko loppujen lopuksi mutta olen kyllä utelias).

Paremman tulevaisuuden puolesta!

My belief for the better tomorrow is on a big test these days when I read the news headlines.

Bombing and shooting in Norway
Arresting the gays at Ghana
European economy is in very bad shape
In Finland they a probably starting to tax the incomes you get from gathering bottles you haven't bought yourself
Murders, robbery, rapes and other bad things
Natural disasters all over the world

Just to mention a few.

I must admit I'm not ready to give this to my children as inheritance. And especially this unfriendly world is the biggest reason why I have really started to doubt if I should start making babies at all. For the childrens' sake. It's just so horrible thought that I would give a life to a child who must comfront more horrible things than I had. Overall I have pretty good conditions after all. But it's another thing where this world seems to be going. Of course I can't be sure of anything but I'm not sure if I even want to take the risk that my children would suffer from stupidity of human just because I decided to have them. Even I think sometimes I have born in the wrong year. But I don't think some other would be better either unless we go VERY far a way at the beginning, although it wasn't safe even then, the dangers were just different.

We can't run away from dangers. But atleast I would understand those dangers which are caused by the nature itself, natural disasters (earthquakes, tsunamis, eruptions, starvation which is caused by the weather etc.) You can think that human belongs to the nature too but there is the problem that human is a thinking animal and we know what we are doing and what are the consequenses (at least most of us should know). We are not forced to kill each others for living space, mating partners or food (or maybe we are, after all we are overpopulated and they are claiming that there wouldn't be enough food) but especially killing because of those insignificant things like other religions and different worldviews, different opinions, is outrageous. Even wild animals won't give a damn about what the other animals are thinking and what are its opinions for this current matter and Oh boy if it won't agree with ME! They come along just fine with cooperation, safety, food and mating. I don't think irrational killing is supposed to be in our nature (or is it... after all, how much we know about this human animal, we still have a lot of things in ourselves which hasn't been solved yet. And it is true that human is as animal as any other animal. But usually animals do have some reasonable explanation for killing their own species. I haven't found this reasonable explanation among humans yet, expect maybe the death sentence, but that too is very complicated matter).

I've always said that human is a stupid animal and sometimes some just snap and they become more stupid. I'm very ashamed when I must admit I am a human, Homo Sapiens. But I admit I don't have a solution to solve the worlds problems. I have no idea how we could make this world better. I only know how it isn't going to happen. And it seems very much like nobody else doens't know the solution either. And the vision of the "right" way to make the better world and what is "the better wold" are varying among the people so much so I don't think we ever get to agreement.

Milliards of people all over the world gathered today to celebrate the first warless era in human history. The last war in the earth came to its conclusion when the troops agreed to peace in nothwest Africa after batteling many years. The peace was made after the sides had agreed to aim weapon allowances to education.

In Finland there wasn't a single case of domestic violence. Psychologists believe the phenomenon be related to that people are starting to understand to chill out. Some also believe aliens to come visiting an putting something mystic substance in our tap water which stabilizes human minds.

In the end of the last year founded social exclusion fund by Finlands Bank and government has been a concrete for helping lonely people. 100 000 long term unemployeds were employed during this year. The numbers are believed to double during the next year.

Pollution has decreased according to the measurments made lately. Scientists haven't find any other explanations but the peoples increasing conscious. The ozon layer which is protecting the earth has also shown signs of recovery because of stop chopping down the Amazons rainforests.

Waiting for that. It might be I won't see it although I decided to live on this cursed planet 100 years (76 years to go), unless reincarnation is possible after all, or if I can somehow stay and watch what's going to happen (although I'm not really sure I would want to but I'm very curious).
