Vähän sitä sun tätä / A little bit that and this

Hurrrrrjasti olisi kaikkea kerrottavaa. Mutta taidan tehdä kaksi postausta. Muuten tulee ähky. Tässä postauksessa keskitytään niihin sekalaisiin juttuihin ja sitten huomenna ystävänpäivää.


Aloitetaan vaikka piposta.

Olen tehnyt elämäni ensimmäisen pipon! Tai oikeastaan kaksi. Tai oikeastaan kyse on myssystä. Tein ensimmäisen ohjeen Myssystä Sukkiin neuleohje kirjastani. Onnistui jopa uskomattoman hyvin. Ensimmäinen pipo oli vähän turhan iso. On tuo toinenkin hieman iso vielä mutta toivon jos se hiukan kutistuisi pesussa, jolloin siitä tulisi sopiva. On ollut käytössäkin jo. Totesin, että pikkupakkasiin se on ihan sopiva (ei yli -10, varsinkin jos tuulee) mutta kovemmissa korvat jäätyy. Tämän sain kokea yhtenä yönä kun olin odottamassa baarin ulkopuolella kyytiä kotiin ja siinä meni sitten hetki jos toinenkin. Mutta muuten myssy on ihan lämpöinen.

Sain myssyn valmiiksi jo tammikuun lopulla. Olen tässä nyt odottanut että lähtisin lankaostoksille jotta pääsen seuraavan ohjeen kimppuun. Korvaläpällinen pipo. Malli ei ole kovin kaunis mutta haluan silti kokeilla. Ensin minun tosin pitää myös selvittää kuinka neulotaan kaksinkertaisella langalla... Myssyssä opin neulomaan nurjaa kiertäen sekä tekemään palmikon. Tai en tiedä onko se palmikko jos vain kaksi silmukkaa on vedetty toisen kahden päälle, mutta sanotaan nyt että on palmikko :D

Minun pitäisi myös sukat itselleni neuloa ettei taidot ruostu. Niin ja lapaset tarvitsen myös! Harmittaa kun yhtenä päivänä olin menossa töihin ja Tampereen keskustorilla oli O(p)i lapanen! kuormuri parkissa. Totta kai se siitä oli lähtenyt jo iltaan mennessä kun pääsin töistä. En ehtinyt käydä kurkkaamassa :(

Minä olen uskomattoman onnekas!! Jo toistamiseen voitin blogi arvonnassa! Ja vieläpä samasta blogista kuin viimeksikin! Ihan uskomatonta! Ja mikä runsaudensarvi sieltä tulikaan. Täytyy varmaan vanhat materiaalit käyttää pois ennen kuin uskallan alkaa uusia käyttämään :D Ja joukkoon tarvitsisin kyllä muutaman leikkurin ja leimasimen ja helmiä ja ja ja... ihan kaikkea! Mistäs sitä rahaa sitten saisi? Ikuinen ongelma.

Päätinkin tässä että koska olen niin onnekas niin pitää minun onneani vähän levittääkin. Olen suunnittelemassa  blogiarvontaa ja palkintokin on puoliksi mietittynä. Päivästä en ole vielä varma mutta esim. blogin vuosipäivä olisi muistaakseni tuossa kesällä joskus... pitää miettiä.

Runebering päiväkin oli ja meni ja torttuja tein pitkästä aikaa. Niistä tuli jotenkin todella uskomattoman hyviä ja ne kelpasivat niin ystävälle joka oli luonani vaalivalvojaisissa kuin myös tuolle Isännälle. Ja tänä vuonna ne eivät myöskään palaneet niinkuin viimeksi muistan käyneen.

Sitten hieman tuoreimpiin tapahtumiin. Eilen, sunnuntaina, 12.2 olin kahden työkaverin ja ja toisen näistä miehen kanssa Helsingissä! Ajatella! Menimme katsomaan Disney on Ice Prinsessat ja Sankarit :D Neljä aikuista ihmistä, ilman lasta. Ja kyllä kannatti! Oli aivan uskomattoman ihana! Olimme paikalla jo kolmen maissa ja esitys alkoi vasta kuudelta, joten menimme lähijunalla Pasilasta Helsingin keskustaan (nyt on sekin koettu :D). Kävimme Forumissa ja Kampissa. Minä löysin kivan ale paidan Seppälän remonttialesta.

Itse näytös oli aika huikea! Ainut harmi oli kieli. Esitys oli totta kai Suomeksi ja se hieman näkyi puheosuuksissa jotka oli suurin osa leikattu itse elokuvista, että eivät nyt oikein aina osuneet yhteen siihen mitä hahmot tekivät tai tarinallisesti. Epäkohtia löytyi. Välillä tuntui myös, että esityksissä oli kova kiire. Nopeasti on ympätty mukaan vain jotain jotta saadaan mahdollisimman monta paria jäälle. Olisin kaivannut esim. Prinsessa ja sammakosta sekä Kaksin karkuteillä numeroista hieman enemmän kuin pelkkää parien yhteinen jäätanssi.

Vaikka olivat esitykset kyllä upeita kaikesta huolimatta. Uskomatonta lahjakkuutta ja ne asut! Ruususen lohikäärme oli kyllä parasta antia. Kyllä siinä ihan heittäytyi mukaan koko showhun. Ja kiitettävästi yläkatsomostakin näki, että vaikka esiintyjistä tuskin kukaan on suomalainen niin hyvin silti huulet liikkuivat tekstin mukana.

Näytöksessä oli myös akrobatiaa ja tulipa siinä sitten mieleen, että pitäisi sirkustakin mennä katsomaan. Itsellä kun on viime kertaisesta aikaa hyvässä lykyssä varmaan n. 10 vuotta ainakin. Saapa nähdä mennäänkö siis samalla porukalla myös sirkukseen jossain vaiheessa ja sitten seuraavana vuonna uudestaan Disney on Iceen.

Disney kärpänen iski siis taas ja nyt olenkin katsellut CDON.comista Disney leffoja. Raaskisi vain ostella. Olen jo listaakin pistänyt eteenpäin että minun seuraavat synttäri- ja joululahjani ovat kyllä tiedossa tai ainakin jo toivomuksessa. Samainen lista löytyy myös Mauri Kunnaksen kirjoista. Mietin vain, että mihin minä nekin vielä johonkin saan mahtumaan kun sekä Disneyä ja Kunnasta tulee koko ajan lisääkin...

Disney on Icesta saatte nähdä kuvia sitten kun saan niitä työkaveriltani. Itsellä kun ei ole kameraa ja kännykällä saa niin onnettomia ettei niitä kannata edes julkaista.

There is soooooo much to tell about. But I think I'll make to posts. Otherwise there is at least too much pictures. In this post I concentrate on those miscellaneous things and tomorrow it's going to be about Valentine's day.


First I start with a wolly hat.

I've made my first ever wolly hat! Or actually two. I made my first indication from my book "Myssystä sukkiin - neulontaohjeita" (From wolly hat to socks - knitting instructions). I did pretty well. The first one was a bit too big. The other one is too a little bit too big but I hope it will shrink a little in the first wash so it would be perfect. It's been already in use. It's really nice if there is only little frost (not over -10 degrees, especially if it's windy), but in much harder frost ears will freeze. I learnt this one night when I was waiting outside a bar after my work my workmate to pick me up and I waited there a while. But elseway the wolly hat is warm.

I finished the hat already end of the January. I've been waiting to go to buy some more yarn so I can start trying the next instruction. A wolly hat with ear pads. The model isn't very pretty but I still want to try it. But first I need to find out how I knit with double string... In the wolly hat I learnt to knit the wrong stitch twisting and how to make plait. Well I don't know if it's really a plait if I just put two stitches on to other two but let's say it's plait :D (I must also admit I don't know if I use the right words in english when talking about knitting and its vocabulary, so sorry if there is difficulties to understand what I mean).

I should also knit some socks for me so I won't lost the talent. Oh and I would need mittens too! It was a shame I missed "O(p)i lapanen!" (Learn mitten) truck at the Tampere's middle square one day. I was going to work when I saw it and of course after I was leaving home in the evening the truck had already dissapeard. I didn't get to peek inside of it :(

I'm unbelievably lucky!! Twice now I've won a blog draw! And it was the same blog as the last time! Unbelievable! And what a horn of plenty was waiting for me. I must use my old materials first before I dare to use these new ones :D And I would also need some cutters and stamps and pearls and and and... everything! But where do I get the money? That's always the problem.

I decided because I'm so lucky I must spread my luck to others too. So I'm planning some blog draw and I have half of the prize already thought out. But I'm not sure about the day but if I remember right atleast I would have my blogversary (is that the right word? :D) sometime on summer... so I must think.

The day of Runeberg was on Sunday 5th of February (at the same time we had our president election here in Finland :D The Day of Runeberg is held because of this guy: Johan Ludvig Runeberg) and I made some Runeberg's cakes for a long time. They were so delicious and also my friend who was at my places on Sunday (we were following the election results together and just having fun :)) and my partner liked them a lot. And this year I didn't burn them like I remember I might have done the other time.

And now to some newer events. Yeasterday, on sunday 12th of February I was with my two working mates and partner of one of them at Helsinki! Can you imagine! We went to see Disney on Ice Princess and Heros :D Four adults and none children. But it was worth it! It was unbelievable amazing! We were at Helsinki already about 3pm and the show started 6pm so we took local train from Pasila to centre of Helsinki (now I've experienced that too :D). We went to malls Forum and Kamppi. I found a cheap shirt from Seppälä, it was on sale.

The actual show was immense! The only problem was the language. Of course it was in Finnish and it did show in some speak parts which were cut straight from the movies that they didn't always fit the doings of the characters or in the story. There were some faults. And sometimes it felt like they were in rush. Quickly they tried just to put something action on the ice so they could get as many partners they like.For example I would have liked to see more about Princess and frog or Tangled than just the couples ice dance.

But it was still amazing. There were so wonderful talent and the costumes! Sleeping Beauty's dragon was the best of the costumes. And I did throw myself into the whole show. And it was nice to see even from the upper stand how the performers moved their mouths to lipsync the songs and text even thought I doubt there wasn't a single Finnish among them.

There were also some acrobatics and I started to think I would like to go see circus. It's been about 10 years I think since I've last been in circus. So let's see if we are going some day with the same gang and next year we are definately coming back to another Disney on Ice.

I'm now again so into Disney and I've watched some Disney movie DVDs on CDON.com. I just need the money. I've already made a list of all the classics so nobody doesn't need to think a lot what to get me on my birthday or Christmas. I have the same kind of list about Mauri Kunna's books too. There is also going to be problem where on earth I can fit all the DVDs and books when there is all the time coming new Disney movies and new Kunnas books...

You'll see pictures from Disney on Ice when I get them from my workmate. I don't own camera myself and my phone doesn't take pictures good enough to be published.
