Ei, minä en saanut poika vauvaa, enkä saanut koiraakaan vielä.
Minä olen nyt iso täti :)
Siskontyttöni sai poika vauvan eilen aamulla. Poika tuli muutamaa viikkoa etuajassa mutta voi hyvin vaikkakin hänellä on huulihalkio, mutta onneksi niitä pystytään korjaamaan nykyään vaivatta :) Hän on söpö kuin mikä. Olen nähnyt jo kuvan. En malta odottaa että näen ihan livenä. Nimestä ei ole minkäänlaista arvausta mutta epäilen ettei tule olemaan mikään tavallinen :)

No, I didn't get a baby boy, neither did I get the dog.
I'm now a great-aunt :)
My niece got her a baby boy yesterday morning. He came few weeks early but he's ok, although he has cleft lip (I'm not sure if that's the right word) but luckily it's not a big deal nowadays to fix it :) He's such a cutie. I have seen picture already. Can't wait to see him live. I have no idea what the name might be, but I doubt it's going to be something not so common :)

Disney On Ice 2013

Olin katsomassa Disney On Icea viime sunnuntaina. Teemana oli "Yhtä juhlaa". Esitys oli Helsingissä.
Muistin kamerani! Ja miten hyvä kamera minulla onkaan. Se on Canon PowerShot A2300 ja kauniin fuksian värinen.
Suurin osa kuvista oli upeita! Vaikka istuimmekin yläkatsomossa, oli pimeää ja luistelijat olivat koko ajan liikkeessä ja kaikki kuvat on otettu pleksin läpi. Olen erittäin tyytyväinen. Ja videot ovat myös upeita. Hieno mikrofooni.
Mukana oli entinen työkaverini, nykyinen työkaverini ja hänen avokkinsa, itse jätin Isännän kotiin :P En usko että hän olisi arvostanut esitystä niin paljon kuin minä. Ajoimme Helsinkiin ja pysähdyimme matkalla myös hampurilaisille.
Show oli mahtava, tavallaan pidin tästä vuodesta enemmän kuin viime vuoden esityksestä. Mutta täytyy kyllä myöntää etten muista viime vuotisesta paljoakaan...
Lempiohjelmanumeroni oli Japani kohtaus. Se oli todella hieno. Siellä oli myös Jack Painajainen ennen joulusta mikä oli mukava yllätys. Oli hienoa nähdä melkein kaikki pahikset samaa aikaa jäällä. He juhlivat Halloweenia tietenkin.
Jotkin ohjelmanumerot eivät olleet niin hyviä ja tuntui kuin monessa olisi vain kiirrehditty eteenpäin jotta olisi saatu mahdollisimman monta hahmoa ja teemaa ängettyä mukaan. Ja silti niillä oli iso ohjelmanumero Mikille kun tämä oli velho ja oli ne luudat ja kaikkea. Se oli ihan ok mutta kesti liian kauan. Sen olisi pitänyt olla lyhyempi niin olisi jäänyt aikaa muillekin.
Kaiken kaikkiaan se oli hieno päivä. Olin niin innoissani. Kun olin pieni olisin halunnut mennä Disney On Iceen mutta minua ei koskaan viety. Nyt kun olen aikuinen voin mennä itse :) Mutta tietenkään en menisi ellei minulla olisi ystäviä joiden kanssa mennä. Onneksi työkaverini ovat Disney fanaatikkoja :)
Ostin jopa värityskirjan yhdestä kojusta. Näissä tapahtumissa on kyllä niin kamalaa rahastusta aina ja kaikki maksaa järettömästi. He tosiaan tietävät miten viedä rahat vanhemmilta. Mutta värityskirja oli kiva. Viime vuonna työkaverini osti saman joten tiesin mitä tulen saamaan.
Seuraavana vuonna aiomme taas mennä :) Siitä on tullut jo perinne. Nykyinen työkaverini on nähnyt sen 4 kertaa, ex työkaverini 3 kertaa ja minä 2 kertaa. Ei huono vai mitä :)
I was at the Disney On Ice on last Sunday. The theme was "Let's party". The show was in Helsinki.
I did remember my camera! And I must say I have a very good camera. It's Canon PowerShot A2300, in beautiful fuchsia.
Most of the pictures were wonderful! Even though we sat in the highest stand, it was dark and the skaters were moving all the time and all the pictures were even taken through plexiglass. I'm very pleased. And the videos are amazing too. Fine microphone.
I went there with my ex co-worker, my current co-worker and her partner, I left my partner at home :P I don't know if he would have appreciate the show as much as I did. We drove to Helsinki and stopped by to eat some burgers.
The show was wonderful, I kind of liked it more than the last year's show. But I must admit that I don't remember anything about the last year...
My favorite part was the Japan sequence. It was very nice. There were also Jack from Nightmare before Christmas which was a surprise. It was so cool to have almost all the bad guys on the ice at the same time. They were celebrating Halloween of course.
Some numbers weren't so good and it felt like they were rushing everything just to get all the characters and themes in. And still they had quite a big number about the Mickey Mouse when he was a sorcerer with the brooms and everything. It was ok but it took too much time. It could have been shorter so there would have been enough time for others.
Overall it was a nice day. And I was so thrilled. When I was a little I always wanted to go to Disney On Ice but my parents never took me. Now I'm a grown up and can go myself :) But of course I wouldn't go there if I wouldn't have friends to go with me. Luckily my co-workers are Disney fanatics :)
I even bought a coloring book in one of the booths. There sure is a lot of collections going on in these kinds of events and everything is costing so much. They sure know how to took money from those poor parents. But the coloring book is nice. Last year my co-workers bought the same one so I knew what I was getting for.
Next year we are going to see Disney On Ice again :) It's a tradition now. My current co-worker has seen it 4 times, my ex co-worker has seen it 3 times and I have seen it 2 times. Not bad, eh :)

Viikkoni / My week
English below
Minun on ollut tarkoitus kirjoittaa jo monta kertaa mutta en vain ole saanut aikaiseksi. Olen vain lukenut blogeja. Mutta sain inspiraation Rescued Insanitiltä :) Kumpa olisin yhtä tuottelias kuin hän. Mutta minkäs teet kun viikot on buukattu täyteen.
Olen kuitenkin edistynyt Uuden Vuoden lupauksissani.
Olen pessyt hampaani kahdesti päivässä (paitsi muutamana iltana kun olin väsynyt ja unohdin).
Olen tehnyt jotain kuntoilun hyväksi. Kirjauduin Salsa Houseen tanssimaan ja käynkin siellä aina kun vain voin. Tanssitunnit on iltaisin joten työt estävät ikävästi käyntikertojani. Ajattelin myös mennä uimahalliin mutta en vielä tiedä milloin ehdin.
Muut lupaukset eivät menekään niin hyvin, paitsi rahan säästäminen. Mutta minulla on vielä aikaa :)
Joten, viikostani...
Maanantaisin minulla on musiikin teoriaa klo 16:45. Töitä on onneksi harvoin, ellei sitten ole jotain erikoista.
Tiistaisin minulla on reggaetonin tekniikka tunti klo 20 (olen harvemmin töissä tiistaisin mutta silloin kun olen niin reggaeton joutuu jäämään väliin).
Keskiviikkoisin olen useimmiten töissä klo 18-22, mutta jos en ole töissä olen Salsa tunnilla klo 19.
Torstaisin haluaisin niin kovasti päästä Afrocubano tunnille klo 18 mutta useimmiten olen töissä klo 18-22 ja minulla on myös laulutunti klo 14:30.
Perjantaisin olen yleensä töissä klo 18-22.
Ja lauantaisin on töitä, töitä ja töitä klo 12-22.
Sunnuntait ovat vapaita, vaihtelevasti.
Joten en tiedä mihin saisin uimisen vielä mahtumaan kun pitäisi myös pitää kämppä siistinä, tehdä ruokaa ja olisi vielä kolme kirjallista tehtävääkin tehtävänä kouluun (deadline 28.2) ja haluisin myös lukea, laulaa, kirjoittaa, pelata ja katsoa TV:tä.
Tiedän, että minulla olisi rutkasti aikaa aamuisin ja uimahallissa ei välttämättä olisi kauheasti ihmisiäkään silloin, mutta epäilen etten saisi itseäni ylös ennen kuin aikaisintaan yhdeksältä, mitä tällä hetkelläkin yritän koko ajan, vaihtelevalla menestyksellä. Tarvitsen hitaita aamujani, joten olisin ehkä valmis 12 maissa. Mutta en sitten tiedä onko sekään hyvä aika mennä kun olisi niin paljon kaikkea tehtävää ennen kuin pitää lähteä töihin tai muualle.
Mutta silti parhaat päivät uimisellekin olisi varmaan keskiviikko tai perjantai, vaikka olisinkin menossa illalla töihin. Keskiviikko olisi varmaan hyvä juurikin niinä päivinä kun pitää mennä töihin enkä pääse salsaamaan. Joten vaihtoehtoisesti voisin mennä uimaan ennen töitä. Ja sama juttu perjantaina... Pystyisinköhän siihen...? Täytyy miettiä seuraavalla viikolla.
Seuraavalla viikolla minulla on myös jotain kivaa postattavaa. Menen Disney On Iceen Helsinkiin tänä sunnuntaina työkavereideni kanssa :) Siitä tulee tosi kivaa. Toivottavasti muistan ottaa uuden kamerani mukaan jonka sain joululahjaksi Isännältä. Vihdoin minulla on oikea kamera! Toistaiseksi en tosin ole ottanut vielä paljon kuvia koska vieläkin unohdan, että minulla on se :D

I have made progress in some of the new year's resolutions.
I have brushed my teeth twice a day (expect couple of evenings when I was just too tired and forgot).
I've made something about the exercise. I've booked myself in Salsa House to dance and I'm going there as much as I can. The dance classes are at evenings, so my work is preventing me for going there as often as I would like to. I also thought about going to public swimming pool but I don't know yet how I can manage it to my schedule.
Other resolutions aren't going so well, expect the money saving. But I'll still have time :)
So, about my week...
On Mondays I have my music theory class at 4:45 pm. Luckily I don't have to go to work unless there's special occasion.
On Tuesdays I have reggaeton technique class at 8 pm. (I rarely work on Tuesdays but when I do, I have to pass the reggaeton.)
On Wednesdays I'm most of the time at work from 6 pm to 10 pm. But if I don't have work I'm at the Salsa dance class at 7 pm.
On Thursdays I would really like to be in Afrocubano dance class at 6 pm but most of the time I'm at work from 6 pm to 10 pm. And I also have singing lesson at 2:30 pm.
On Fridays I'm most of the time at work from 6 pm to 10 pm.
And Saturdays are most of the time work, work and work from 12 pm to 10 pm.
Sundays are free, well, casually.
So I don't know where I could fit the swimming when I should also keep the house clean, make dinner and I still have three school work to make (deadline is 28th of February) and I would also like to read, sing, write, play and watch TV.
I know I could have plenty of time in the mornings and the swimming pool wouldn't probably be so full of people then but I really doubt I can pull myself up more earlier than 9 pm, which I'm already trying to do every morning, with varying success. I need my slow mornings so I would probably be ready at 12 pm. But I don't know if that's going to be good time either because there's so much to do before I need to go to work or somewhere else.
The best days might still be Wednesday or Friday. Even though I would be at work. Wednesday would be good especially those days when I have to work because I won't then get to the Salsa class. So alternatively I could go swimming before I left to work. And same thing on Fridays... Could I manage that...? I must think about it next week...
Next week I'll also have something fun to post about. I'm going to see Disney On Ice at Helsinki this Sunday with my workmates :) I'm sure it's going to be a lots of fun. And I mustn't forget my new camera which I got for Christmas present from my partner. Finally I have a real camera! :) I haven't taken much pictures yet because I still forget that I really have it now :D

Uuden Vuoden Lupaukset 2013 / New Year's Resolutions 2013

- Alan kuntoilemaan. Ainakin yritän käydä joka päivä kävelyllä. Tai, ehkä en ihan joka päivä mutta ainakin joka viikko! Haluaisin tanssia ja toivonkin että menisimme joillekin tunneille ystäväni kanssa. Ja minun pitäisi myös alkaa tekemään jotain lihasharjoituksia että saisin lihakset ja selkäni parempaan kuntoon.
- Alan pesemään hampaitani kahdesti päivässä.
- Menen hammaslääkäriin. Pitäisi vain löytyä jokin hyvä joka veisi pois pelkoni... mutta sillä ei ole vielä kiirettä... minulla on koko vuosi aikaa...
- Yritän pitää kämpän siistinä.
- Säästän rahaa jokaisesta palkastani (jonka saan kaksi kertaa kuukaudessa). Tarvitsen vain paikan johon pistän ne...
- Yritän päästä teekkarikuoroon.
- Yritän muistaa kaikkien syntymä- ja nimipäivät
Oikein hyvää uutta vuotta 2013! Mitä lupauksia sinä teit?

- I will start working out. At least I'll try to go for a walk every day. Well, maybe not every day but at least every week! I want to dance and I hope we can go for some lessons with my friend. And I also should start making some exercises to improve my muscles and to help my back to get better.

- I will go to the dentist. I just need to find out a good one which could take away my fear... so there's no rush... I have the whole year...
- I'll try keeping the house clean.
- I'll save some money from my every salary (which I get twice a month). I just need a place where to put it...
- I will try to get in on a local choir.
- I'll try to remember everyone's birthdays and namedays.
I think that's enough, but if I got something else in my mind I will update the list.

I stopped by to just say Merry Christmas!
Today the Good Tuomas is bringing the Christmas and we can celebrate this season until the bad Nuutti takes it away :) (It's an old Finnish proverb and it means the time between 21. December to 13. January. That's the Christmas time).
We are going to celebrate the Christmas with my Partners family at Kurikka. We are probably going there tomorrow.
Today I have my last singing lesson for this year and tomorrow I also have my final work day before my Christmas break which is the whole next week (and I got it even I didn't ask for it! :) But I did ask if I could get those Christmas days free. But I don't complain! :D)
Next time I'm at work on New Year's Eve.

Listaan tänne mukavia Joulukalenterita joita löysin netistä.
Ensin on tietenkin Positiivarit.fi. En oikein tiedä mikä sivu tämä oikeastaan on mutta heillä on joka vuosi todella hieno Joulukalenteri :)
Sitten on Korkeasaari. Tänä vuonna tutustutaan villieläin hoitolaan.
Sitten on Mauri Kunnas joka ei ole muuttunut moneen vuoteen mutta on silti aika kiva. En ole vieläkään tehnyt tätä itse ja tulostimemme on tällä hetkellä rikki joten en voi tehdä sitä tänäkään vuonna mutta ehkä sinä innostut siitä :)
Ja totta kai on Tonttu Toljanteri. TV Joulukalenterimme. RAKASTAN Toljanteria! Haluan samanlaisen talon kuin hänellä :) Sarjat näkyvät TV2:sessa mutta ne löytyvät myös Youtubesta joka päivä. Sivulta löytyy myös aikaisempien vuosien sarjat.
Tämä saattaa myös olla mielenkiintoinen. En ole ennen törmännyt tähän sivuun mutta sen nimi on Korvatunturi. Katsotaan millainen joulukalenteri heillä on.
En löytänyt ainoatakaan kalenteria englanniksi mutta ehkä sinä tiedät mukavia Joulukalentereita netissä? Millä kielellä hyvänsä :)

I list here some nice Christmas calendars which I found on the Internet. They are in Finnish but I still recommend them.
First there's Positiivarit.fi. I don't quite know what kind of site this is but they have always very nice Christmas calendar :)
Then there's Korkeasaari Zoo. This year they are introducing the wild animal hospital.
There's also Mauri Kunnas which hasn't changed in many years but it's still quite nice. I still haven't done this and now our printer is broken so I can't do it this year either but maybe you get excited about it :)
And of course there's Tonttu Toljanteri. Our TV Christmas calendar. I LOVE Toljanteri! I want that kind of house too :) The series are shown on TV but they are also found in Youtube everyday. There's also earlier Tonttu Toljanteri series. They are in Finnish but I still recommend them to you :)

I didn't find any Christmas calendars in English but do you know any nice Calendars on the Web? In any language :)

Listaan tänne mukavia Joulukalenterita joita löysin netistä.
Ensin on tietenkin Positiivarit.fi. En oikein tiedä mikä sivu tämä oikeastaan on mutta heillä on joka vuosi todella hieno Joulukalenteri :)
Sitten on Korkeasaari. Tänä vuonna tutustutaan villieläin hoitolaan.
Sitten on Mauri Kunnas joka ei ole muuttunut moneen vuoteen mutta on silti aika kiva. En ole vieläkään tehnyt tätä itse ja tulostimemme on tällä hetkellä rikki joten en voi tehdä sitä tänäkään vuonna mutta ehkä sinä innostut siitä :)
Ja totta kai on Tonttu Toljanteri. TV Joulukalenterimme. RAKASTAN Toljanteria! Haluan samanlaisen talon kuin hänellä :) Sarjat näkyvät TV2:sessa mutta ne löytyvät myös Youtubesta joka päivä. Sivulta löytyy myös aikaisempien vuosien sarjat.
Tämä saattaa myös olla mielenkiintoinen. En ole ennen törmännyt tähän sivuun mutta sen nimi on Korvatunturi. Katsotaan millainen joulukalenteri heillä on.
En löytänyt ainoatakaan kalenteria englanniksi mutta ehkä sinä tiedät mukavia Joulukalentereita netissä? Millä kielellä hyvänsä :)

I list here some nice Christmas calendars which I found on the Internet. They are in Finnish but I still recommend them.
First there's Positiivarit.fi. I don't quite know what kind of site this is but they have always very nice Christmas calendar :)
Then there's Korkeasaari Zoo. This year they are introducing the wild animal hospital.
There's also Mauri Kunnas which hasn't changed in many years but it's still quite nice. I still haven't done this and now our printer is broken so I can't do it this year either but maybe you get excited about it :)

Joulu päivitystä / Christmas update
English below
Olen pahoillani mutta Joulukalenteri on tänä vuonna hieman myöhässä. Aion pysyä edelleen samassa ideassa mutta en ole ehtinyt vielä edes kuvaamaan Julukortteja. Katsoo ehdinkö saada kalenteria aikaiseksi viimeistään Maanantaiksi. Jos en niin sitten vain postaan kortit enkä tee Joulukalenteria tänä vuonna.
Mutta muuten Joulu etenee mukavasti. Olen tehnyt kaikki kortit (ja löysin kaksi viime vuoden korttia joita en ollut lähettänyt). Olen vaihtanut verhot keittiöstä ja makuuhuoneesta ja pistin myös Jouluvalot kumpaankin. Sunnuntaina yritän saada aikaiseksi olohuoneen verhojen vaihdon ja valot parvekkeelle. Minun pitää myös vaihtaa petivaatteet ja pyyhkeet. Minulla ei nyt ole suklaista Joulukalenteria koska en voisi sitä syödä mutta päätinkin sitten pistää piparkakkutaikinaa siihen :) Mutta minulla ei ole taikinaa vielä :( Joten tällä hetkellä minulla on vain yksi kuva Joulukalenteri. Mutta sunnuntaina "juhlimme pikkujoulua" ja menemme kauppaan niin sitten voin ostaa taikinaa ja minun pitää myös ostaa glögiä (alkoholitonta). Ja me syömme hieman Jouluruokaakin :)
Tänään satoi lunta. Oikeastaan oli aikamoinen myrsky. Tuulee ja nyt on paljon lunta. Toivon mukaan se kestää nyt Jouluun asti :) On niin kaunista

I'm sorry but the Christmas calendar is going to be late this year. I'm going to stick with the same idea but I haven't even took pictures of the Christmas cards yet. Let's see if I can manage to make the calendar until Monday atleast. If not, then maybe I just post the cards and won't make the Christmas calendar this year.
But otherwise Christmas is going well now. I have made all the cards (and found two of last years' cards which I didn't send). I have changed curtains in the kitchen and bedroom and I have put lights on both of them too. On Sunday I'll try to manage change the curtains in the living-room and but the lights on the balcony. And I need to change bed covers and towels also. I don't have a Christmas calendar with chocolate now because I can't eat it but I decided to put some Christmas cookie dough in it :) But I don't have the dough yet :( So at the moment I only have just one picture Christmas calendar. But on Sunday we are "celebrating Little Christmas" and we go to the market and I can buy the dough, and I need to buy mulled wine also (non-alcohol). And we eat little bit of Christmas food :)
It snowed today. It's quite a storm here. It's really windy and there's a lot of snow. I hope it lasts for Christmas now :) It's so pretty.
