Although I am lucky that I am generally quite thin (it is something we Chinese are genetically!) - but I know I have gained quite a few kilos in recent years compared to the past and since I am not a very tall person, I really can't afford any extra weight! So I am also trying to lose some - but I also hate exercising! What i find makes the biggest difference is really finding an activity that you enjoy. It is no use how much bribery or threatening you tell yourself - if you are not enjoying the activity, you just won't continue it. I have tried so many different kinds of exercise classes and the gym and personal training, etc - but in the end, i found for me that I just hate "sports" and so now I join a dance class to work out in the different way, Because I love dancing and find doing workouts with choreography more challenging and less boring than just the gynm stuff - so I don't notice the time going - and the music is much better and everything is more fun! so if you like dancing, maybe you can try a dance workout class for your exercise? It will burn just as much calories but if you find it more interesting and enjoy it more, you will be more likely to continue it - and you know for losing weight, you really need to continue with somethign for a while before you see any effect!<br /><br />Plus of course, eat less! I find it helps if I follow my 70% full rule - which means I stop eating when I'm still a little bit hungry - don't eat until I'm full.
